On Tuesday March 8th and Tuesday March 15th, the grant partners will be hosting an Abuse In Later Life Victim Services Cross Training in Geraldo’s Café at Brooklyn Law School’s Feil Hall from 8:30AM-5PM. This an interactive training that teaches social workers and victim service providers the dynamics of abuse later in life, helps them to identify and utilize resources in the community, and promotes collaboration and communication among victim service agencies. Local leaders in the elder abuse field will be facilitating the trainings.
Attached is the invitation for the trainings on March 8th and March 15th. Please attend the training that best accommodates your schedule. Please forward this invitation to any of your colleagues—this is an important issue in our community, and we certainly want you and your organization to be informed about elder abuse resources here in Brooklyn.
