Steering Committee
The NYCEAC’s staff receives guidance from its Steering Committee, comprised of representatives from government agencies and non-profit organizations. Steering Committee members are involved with all aspects of NYCEAC’s development – determining structure and governance; establishing priorities and activities; drafting the mission, vision and core values statements; defining elder abuse for NYCEAC’s purposes; hiring staff; program planning, implementation and evaluation; pr/marketing; fund raising; and sustainability.
With considerable contributions of time, talent and expertise from these dedicated Steering Committee members, NYCEAC is able to improve the lives of older victims and make substantial contributions to the field of elder justice. To these wonderful people: Thank you.
