Organization Description
The Alzheimer’s Association, NYC Chapter provides information, education and support to anyone affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias in the five boroughs. Our programs and services are available free of charge, and include our 24-Helpline (800-272-3900), Care Consultation social work services, numerous Education and Training opportunities for family members and professionals, a vast network of Support Groups, MedicAlert® + Safe Return®, and an Early Stage Center for people living with the disease and their care partners. All of our services apply to the area of elder abuse, either as prevention or intervention.

The Alzheimer’s Association hosts annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s® events in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. The Walks raise awareness and funds that support Alzheimer’s research, support and care. Find information about your local Walk to End Alzheimer’s® www.alznyc.org/walk
