Service Program for Older People (SPOP)

Nancy Harvey has spent her entire career in geriatric and mental health services, and has served as Executive Director of SPOP since 1990. She is responsible for all operations of the agency, including administration, finance, policies, fundraising, and relations and compliance with government agencies.

During her tenure at SPOP, Nancy has advocated on behalf of homebound older adults and has spoken extensively on SPOP’s nationally-recognized program of long-term in-home mental health treatment. She recently participated in the Geriatric Mental Health Foundation Invitational Conference on Model Programs for Home-Based Mental Health Services to Older Adults.

Nancy is currently a member of the Coalition of Voluntary Behavioral Health Agencies Board of Directors and has served on the boards of Council of Senior Centers and Services, Queens Interagency Council on Aging, Families First/Brooklyn, and the Port Washington Children’s Center.
