Executive Director, Heights and Hills
Supporting Brooklyn’s Older Adults

Judy Willig has been the Executive Director of Heights and Hills, a community-based agency serving older adults in Brooklyn, NY since 1986. Recently, the organization has expanded to become one of the largest case management agencies for the elderly in NYC, has initiated a caregiver services program, became a recipient of a New York State Office for the Aging “Empowering Communities for Aging in Place” grant, and became one of the first CMS-funded care transitions programs in NYC.

Ms. Willig is an active member of various community and aging organizations including the Board of Directors of NYC Council of Senior Centers and Services, the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies Task Force on Aging, a founding member of the New York City Family Caregiver Coalition, the New York City Hoarding Task Force and the Brooklyn Local Aging Network.
She has proven herself to be an effective aging advocate and community organizer, has published articles on aging and has presented workshops at numerous national, state, and citywide conferences on topics as varied as Hoarding and the Elderly, Self-Neglect, Caregiving, Managing an Unmanageable Caseload, Worker Safety in the Field, Disaster Planning for the Elderly, Intergenerational Partnerships, and Corporate Partnerships. She received her MSW from the University of Michigan School of Social Work and her BA in Psychology from Binghamton University.
